How to Get Involved at Ruthven Park

It’s easy to get involved at Ruthven Park; we are always looking for new volunteers and members to join our team!

Ruthven was founded by a group of very dedicated volunteers and operated by the Trust and various committees, the site depends on and is enriched by the support and expertise of community involvement.

To keep up with this tradition, we are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist and be involved with our many activities.

Other options of support include memberships and donations which significantly help to operate and enhance the site, as well as assist with our stewardship endeavour.

Ruthven Park National Historic Site is owned and operated by The Lower grand River Land Trust Inc., a charitable, non-government, not for profit organization.

Incorporated in 1994, the Land Trust is dedicated to being an exemplary steward of the 1500-acre property in its care.

In addition to implementing conservation initiatives, the Trust seeks to interpret and educate the public on the value and history of its cultural and natural landscapes.
